This page explains what personal information newhorizonretirements.com collects, why we collect it, where it is stored, and how to request access or deletion. We keep it in plain English.

What we collect

If you book a Discovery Session or send us a message, we collect the contact details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and anything you choose to tell us about your situation. If you sign up for our updates, we collect your name and email address, and your mobile number if you choose to give it for text messages.

Why we collect it

We use this information to respond to you, schedule and prepare for your Discovery Session, and send the updates you asked for. We do not sell your personal information.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and tick a consent box on our sign-up form, we will send you text messages. There are two separate consents and both are optional. One covers service messages such as appointment reminders and replies to questions you send us. The other covers marketing messages such as event invitations and educational updates. You may accept one, both, or neither, and you can still work with us if you accept neither.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or reply HELP for assistance. You can also email admin@nh-rs.com and we will remove your number.

We do not share or sell mobile numbers or text message consent to third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with anyone for marketing or promotional reasons. We share your number only with the service providers that deliver our messages for us, and they may not use it for anything else.

Cookies and tracking

We keep tracking light. We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages get read. It does not use cookies and does not follow you around other websites. We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels here.

Some pages embed tools from our client management provider, such as the booking calendar and the sign-up form. Those embedded tools may set their own cookies so the calendar or form works. Our web host also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

The assistant on this site

The chat assistant on this site is powered by a third-party AI provider. Conversations may be processed to generate responses. Do not share account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive identifiers in the chat. For anything specific to your accounts, we will talk with you directly.

Where it is stored

Contact and scheduling information is stored in our client management system. Names, email addresses, and mobile numbers from our sign-up form are stored there too. These providers are established business platforms that maintain their own security programs, including encryption of data they hold.

How we protect your information

Every page on this site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so anything you send us through a form, our booking calendar, or the chat travels encrypted. The systems that hold your details encrypt them while stored.

Access is limited to Krisstin, Edward, and any staff member who needs it to do their job. Each person uses their own account rather than a shared login, and accounts are removed when someone no longer needs access. We review who has access periodically.

We deliberately do not ask for sensitive identifiers through this website. Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, or copies of identity documents through a web form or the chat assistant. When we need that kind of information for planning work, we collect it directly through a secure channel we will explain to you at the time.

We keep your information for as long as we are working together or you want to hear from us, and for any period the law requires us to keep records. After that we delete it, and you can ask us to delete it sooner. No system is completely secure, so if you believe your information has been exposed, email admin@nh-rs.com or call (248) 510-9923 and we will look into it and tell you what we find.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing admin@nh-rs.com.
